Funding strategy, investor readiness and go-to-market for early-stage biotech and technology startups.

About Lab to Lucre

Your science,made fundable.

Lab to Lucre is a Bengaluru consultancy for early-stage technology and life-science startups. The person who reads your science is the same person who shapes your funding route, your investor story and your first sales.

Most science-led startups stall between a working prototype and a paying customer. You get one written plan for that stretch, and a clear view of the proof investors will ask for.

Lab to Lucre in 20 seconds

The gap every science founder knows

A working prototype, a stack of papers, and an investor asking who will buy it. Turn the sound on: the film shows how Lab to Lucre closes that gap.

Why Lab to Lucre

Less guesswork.More proof.

What makes Lab to Lucre different from a typical fundraising advisor.

01

Fluent in lab and market

The founder is a biotech engineer with a marketing MBA. Lab to Lucre understands your science and turns it into a story a customer and an investor will both buy.

Unlike science-blind deck polishers
02

Built for the early stage

Lab to Lucre covers prototype, first customer and first cheque, the stretch where most founders are left alone.

Unlike advisors who start at Series A
03

A plan, not a pitch list

You leave with written next steps, owners and deadlines, not a list of names to cold-email.

Unlike sellers of investor lists

Six questions investors ask in the first meeting. Your answers stay in your browser: nothing is sent unless you choose to share your result in the form below.

Why is your team the one to solve this problem?
Can you name your first 50 customers who would pay?
Do you know what one sale costs you and earns you?
How do you win customers today?
Do early users come back, reorder or renew?
Would early users be upset if you shut down tomorrow?

About the founder

A biotech engineerwho speaks investor.

Lab to Lucre was founded by Megha Telkar, a biotech engineer with a marketing MBA, to help early-stage technology and life-science startups get from a working prototype to their first customer and first cheque.

Megha spent more than two years in the Bengaluru startup and biotechnology ecosystem as Officer for Innovation and Ecosystem Development at Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre. There she supported life sciences, MedTech and agri-biotech startups through incubation, mentorship, business development and access to grants, angel investors and venture capital.

At BIRAC she analysed about 10,000 startups and independently built a strategic funding playbook that helps investors and grant providers judge startup potential faster and more consistently. Lab to Lucre uses that research and those contacts with every founder it takes on.
